- This standard specifies a method for the determination of olefins plus aromatics content in petroleum fractions. This standard is suitable for determining the content of olefins plus aromatics in gasoline, naphtha, kerosene and other petroleum fractions. This standard is not applicable to the determination of samples containing butane and butene in petroleum fractions and where 90% of the distillation temperature is higher than 315°C.
