Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the acetate binding content of hydrated cellulose membranes used in alkaline batteries and hydrated cellulose. This standard is applicable to hydrated cellulose membranes and the range in which the acetate binding content of hydrated cellulose is less than 1%.
