- This standard specifies alkaline battery separators. Such as hydrated cellulose membrane, hydrated cellulose paper, nylon felt, polypropylene felt, vinylon non-woven fabric, asbestos paper and other copper- and iron-containing impurities determination methods. This standard is applicable to diaphragms with copper and iron content in the range of 0.001% to 0.30%.
