- This part specifies the requirements for reagents and materials, instruments, sample preparation, test procedures and result processing for the determination of the purity of 7 1,2,4-butanetriol and the content of the impurity tetraol. This section is applicable to the determination of the purity and content of the impurity butanetriol of 1,2,4-butanetriol synthesized by high-pressure hydrogenation method using butenediol as raw material.
