- This standard specifies the model test method for trawl nets in still water pools. This standard is applicable to model tests of twin-vessel trawls (excluding drag lines) and screen trawls (excluding drag lines and screens) conducted in still water pools. The model test of the complete rigging of the trawl, the analysis of the trawl, and the relevant model tests of the net can be carried out with reference to the corresponding provisions of this standard. Model tests of the above types of fishing gear in moving pools may refer to this standard.
