Scope

This standard specifies the shape and position tolerance values of automobile body panels and their selection principles. This standard applies to automobile body metal coverings. The tolerance values specified in this standard are not noted on the drawings. When the tolerance value selected for design exceeds the provisions of this standard, it should be noted in the drawings and technical documents.
