Scope

This standard specifies the equipment and instruments, test procedures, calculation and evaluation of test results for the static torsional strength of automobile axle shafts and the torsional fatigue life test of automobile axle shafts. This standard applies to full-floating axle shafts and semi-floating axle shafts of various vehicles with a fixed axle load mass of 13t or less for non-steering axles.
