Scope
This part of GB/T9966 specifies the instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, result calculation and test report used in the bending strength test of natural stone. This section applies to the determination of the bending strength of natural stone after drying, water saturation, and freeze-thaw cycles. Fixed moment bending strength—Method A is applicable to the fixed moment bending strength of building curtain walls and indoor walls and floors; concentrated load bending strength——Method B is applicable to the concentrated load bending strength of stone used in outdoor squares and pavements.
