Scope

This standard specifies the definition, general performance requirements and specific test methods of automotive wiring harness connectors. This standard applies to single-wire and multi-wire connectors in vehicle wiring harnesses and Russian separate connectors used for maintenance on vehicles. This standard does not apply to connectors directly connected to printed circuit boards and internal connections of electronic instruments.
