- This standard specifies the basic requirements and calculation formulas for the design of fixed tube plate evaporator tube plates (including those that double as flanges or not) for light industry. This standard applies to fixed tube plate evaporators used in light industries such as sugar, salt, beverage, pulp and paper making, etc. that meet the following conditions. This standard does not apply to the design of evaporator tube sheets with expansion joints or multiple tube passes.
