Scope

This method is suitable for magnetic measurement of nickel coating thickness on magnetic and non-magnetic substrates. The measurement of nickel plating should be carried out as specified in the instrument instructions. This method has a larger error for thinner coatings such as less than 5um. However, higher accuracy can also be achieved under special circumstances. This test method does not damage the specimen.
