Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the electrical performance of metal halide lamps, including off-lamps and sodium lamps. This standard is applicable to the measurement of photoelectric parameters of metal halide lamps powered by 50Hz~60Hz AC power supply, equipped with corresponding ballasts and triggers, and capable of normal starting and ignition within the range of 92%~106% of the rated power supply voltage.
