- Scope
- This standard specifies test methods for evaluating the safety of cribs and folding cots for household use. This standard applies to cribs and folding cots with an internal length between 900mm and 1400mm and designed to prevent children from climbing out. This standard does not apply to cradles and hammocks. The tests in this standard apply to finished products that are fully assembled and ready for use. Note: The test results are only valid for the test piece. If the test results are to be applied to other similar products, the test sample should be representative of the production model. If the design of the product is not suitable for this test procedure, the test should be carried out in the specified order as much as possible, and the differences from this standard procedure should be recorded.
