- This standard applies to high selectivity and high stability surface acoustic wave filters. This filter is intended for use in black and white television picture intermediate frequency circuits. This standard specifies priority ratings and characteristics for this type of filter, selects applicable quality assessment procedures, test and measurement methods from the general specification (SJ 2968), and gives general performance requirements. The test severities and requirements specified in the detailed specification shall be for the same or higher performance level as in this specification.
