- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for hand-tufted wool rubber-backed carpets. This standard applies to tufted carpets that use wool yarns as tufts and pierce the tuft yarns manually into the base fabric with a needle gun to form tuft rows, and fix them with adhesive on the back. Other hand-tufted rubber-backed carpets whose fiber materials are pile tufts can also be used as a reference.
