Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of natural calcium carbonate for toothpaste. This standard applies to natural calcium carbonate (commonly known as calcite powder) processed by a Raymond mill after being washed with water and dried in the sun. It is mainly used in the production of toothpaste.
