- This standard specifies the atomic absorption spectrophotometric method and the diurethane phenol expansion spectrophotometric method for the determination of sulfide content in fertilizers. The atomic absorption spectrophotometric method in this standard is applicable to the determination of chromium content in various types of fertilizers, and the diphenyl carbon phenol expansion spectrophotometric method is applicable to other types of fertilizers except foliar fertilizers that are difficult to decolorize after treatment of the sample solution.
