- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of reed air instrument saxophone products. This standard applies to b^E (alto) and b^B (treble) saxophones. Saxophones in other keys can be used as a reference. This standard should be used together with QB/T 1658.1-2002 "General Technical Conditions for Reed and Air-sounding Instruments".
