- This standard specifies the technical essentials, test methods and inspection rules for household electric food processing appliances (hereinafter referred to as "food utensils"). This standard applies to single-function and multi-function food appliances with an input power not exceeding 600W and a processing capacity not exceeding 1kg of food at one time. This standard does not apply to electric tools for kitchen use (such as tower openers, knife sharpeners).
