Scope

This standard specifies the spectrophotometric determination of hexavalent chromium in coal mine water using diphenylcarbazide. This standard is applicable to the determination of hexavalent chromium in coal mine water. Under the conditions specified in this standard, the determination range of hexavalent chromium content is 0.004~1mg/L. Diluting water samples can expand the measurement range.
