- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of pollution-free food seaweed. This standard applies to fresh products of kelp (Laminaria japonica), wakame (Undaria pinnatifida), and seaweed (Porphyra yezoensis, Porphyra haitanensis). Other fresh seawater algae can be implemented with reference.
