- This standard specifies the technical requirements for the classification, processing, preparation, packaging, receiving, transportation, storage, cleaning, control and transfer of radioactive waste and spent radioactive sources generated during the utilization of nuclear technology in Beijing. This standard applies to the management of radioactive waste and spent radioactive sources by generating units, transporting units, and urban radioactive waste library management units in the administrative region of Beijing. This standard does not apply to radioactive waste and spent radioactive sources generated during the operation of nuclear facilities and their decommissioning.
