- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of lower belt conveyor brakes (hereinafter referred to as brakes) for coal mines. This standard is mainly applicable to lower belt conveyor brakes used in underground coal mines, and also applies to lower belt conveyor brakes used in open-pit coal mines, coal preparation and other workplaces with explosive risks.
