Scope

This standard specifies the inspection before repairing the ship's shafting; the replacement of the main components of the shafting; the assembly and alignment of the shafting, as well as the acceptance after repair and the documents that should be submitted. This standard applies to the repair of shafting systems of inland river steel ships. Ocean ships and other types of ships can also refer to this implementation.
