- This standard specifies the product classification, naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of high-density polyethylene silicon core plastic pipes (referred to as silicon core pipes) for highway underground communication pipelines. This standard applies to high-density polyethylene silicon-core plastic protective tubes for communication optical and cable laying underground on highways. Porous combined high-density polyethylene plastic pipes can be implemented as a reference. This standard does not apply to protective tubes for outdoor communication lights and cables that are directly exposed to sunlight.
