Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of butyl rubber waterproof sealing adhesive tapes. This standard applies to roll-shaped butyl rubber adhesive tape (butyl adhesive tape for short) used for joint sealing in building waterproofing projects such as polymer waterproofing membranes and metal plate roofs.
