Scope
JB/T 50158-1999 This standard is a revision of ZB J01 008-87 "Energy Consumption Classification of Industrial Boiler Rooms". This standard stipulates the energy consumption levels of boiler rooms of mechanical industrial enterprises for steam boilers with a single boiler rated capacity greater than or equal to 1t/h and hot water boilers greater than or equal to 2.5 million kJ/h (i.e. 600,000 kCal/h). Boiler room energy consumption refers to comprehensive energy consumption, that is, the sum of the fuel, electricity, and water consumed by the boiler room during the statistical period converted into standard coal. Boiler rooms are divided into special, first-class, second-class and third-class according to the energy consumption index per ton of standard steam. Those whose unit consumption index does not reach the third-class index are classified as out-of-class. This standard was first published in 1987.
