- This standard specifies the requirements and inspection and assessment methods for quality grading of coupling capacitors and capacitive voltage dividers. This standard applies to the following capacitors in power systems with frequencies in the range of 15 Hz to 60 Hz and altitudes not exceeding 1000m: a) Power line carriers (PLC) used on high-voltage overhead lines with a carrier frequency range of 30 to 500 kHz Coupling capacitors in systems; b) Capacitive voltage dividers used in capacitive voltage transformers; c) Coupling capacitors used for overvoltage protection and other similar purposes. Hereinafter referred to as "Products". This standard is a unified regulation for measuring the level of product quality (including design quality and manufacturing quality). It is the basis for assessing product quality, product grading, and enterprise upgrading (quality indicators).
