JB/T 50173-1999 This standard is a revision of ZB J01 023-88 "Energy Consumption Classification of Spark Plug Kilns". This standard specifies the energy consumption levels of spark plug kilns. This standard applies to wax removal, biscuit firing and glaze gas kiln insulator manufacturing processes for spark plugs used in various internal combustion engine ignition systems (excluding aviation spark plugs and special purpose spark plugs). Various kilns are divided into first-class, second-class and third-class according to the average energy consumption of each qualified product produced from the kiln during the statistical period. Those who do not reach the third level are classified as out-of-class. This standard was first published on March 5, 1988.
