- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of cross-linked flame-retardant polyolefin materials for insulation or sheathing of wires and cables with a rated voltage of 1kV and below. This standard applies to cross-linkable flame-retardant polyolefin insulation or sheath materials for wires and cables, which are based on polyethylene or ethylene copolymer and mixed with flame retardants, cross-linking agents and other additives.
