This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, product classification, characteristics, product information, normal use and transportation conditions, technical requirements, testing, quality commitment, etc. of AC contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors). This standard applies to contactors with a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and a rated operating voltage not exceeding AC 1140V.
