- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage and transportation requirements for power frequency gasoline generator sets composed of reciprocating internal combustion (RIC) engines, alternating current (AC) generators, control devices and auxiliary equipment. This standard applies to generator sets with a rated frequency of 50Hz and a gasoline engine. The 60Hz unit can be used as a reference.
