- This standard specifies the structural dimensions, air flow characteristics and measurement methods of pintle-type standard fuel injector couplings used for testing and adjusting fuel injection pumps on a fuel injection pump test bench. The exact limits of the scope of use of this standard are related to the tests specified for fuel injection pumps. The applicability should be verified by the fuel injection pump manufacturer on a case-by-case basis and stated in the test specification for each fuel injection pump. The approximate range is up to 150μL circulation.
