This standard specifies a high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in soil and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in soil and sediments, including naphthalene, acenaphthylene, acenaphthylene, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene, benzo(A)anthracene,..., benzo(B) Fluoranthene, benzo(K)fluoranthene, benzo(A)pyrene, dibenzo(A,H)anthracene, benzo(G,H,I)perylene, indeno(1,2,3-C, D)Pyrene. When the sampling volume is 10.0 G and the fixed volume is 1.0 ML, the detection limit of 16 kinds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons using a UV detector is 3 MG/KG ~ 5 MG/KG, and the lower detection limit is 12 MG/KG ~ 20 MG/KG; the detection limit of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons measured with a fluorescence detector is 0.3 MG/KG ~ 0.5 MG/KG, and the lower limit of determination is 1.2 MG/KG ~ 2.0 MG/KG. See Appendix A for details.
