- This standard is mainly applicable to inert gas systems with main and auxiliary boiler flue gas as gas sources installed on bulk oil tankers carrying flash points below 60°C (closed-loop test). It is also applicable to systems that use an inert gas generating device or a device equipped with exhaust gas post-combustion as the inert gas source.
