- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of reverse osmosis seawater desalination equipment. This standard applies to devices with a design pressure not greater than 7.0 MPa, an inlet water temperature of 0 to 35°C, and a device that uses reverse osmosis to produce fresh water from seawater.
