Scope

This standard specifies the brazing filler metal and flux, brazing preparation, brazing process, joint type and weld quality inspection for brazing copper pipes. This standard is applicable to the brazing of copper pipes and branch pipes, flanges, casings, threaded joints, milk-shaped (flat shoulder) joints, and rings.
