- This standard specifies the purpose, tasks, work procedures, image processing, remote sensing interpretation, field investigation, indoor remote sensing mapping, etc. of applying remote sensing technology in 1:50,000 regional geological surveys. This standard is applicable to the remote sensing work specified in DZ/T 0001-91 "General Principles of Regional Geological Survey (1:50000)". The remote sensing work in the 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 geological and mineral censuses can also be used as a reference.
