Guangdong Provincial Standard of the People's Republic of China
Latest
DB44/T 924-2011
Scope
This standard specifies test methods for free water and particulate contaminants in distillate fuels. This standard is suitable for on-site rapid determination and evaluation of free water and particulate pollutants in distillate fuels with a final boiling point below 400°C and a GB 6540 color of no greater than No. 5. Method 1 is a quick pass or fail assessment of contaminants in distillate fuels; Method 2 is an overall numerical rating of turbid appearance. NOTE: When testing at temperatures below the cloud point of the fuel, small amounts of solid wax particles may be confused with turbidity or floc caused by water. Both methods are suitable for field testing at storage temperatures, or for laboratory testing at specified temperatures.
