- This standard specifies the judgment criteria and protection methods for stray current corrosion of ship hulls. This standard is applicable to the protection against corrosion of the underwater shell or accessories of the hull caused by stray currents caused by ship welding, power supply systems and electrical equipment. The protection against corrosion caused by stray currents in offshore structures and port facilities should also be used with reference.
