- This standard specifies the general provisions, composition and layout, system calculation and material selection of oil tanker ventilation systems. This standard applies to oil tankers and oil barges carrying crude oil and petroleum products with a closed cup test flash point not exceeding 60°C. It can also be used in tankers carrying other liquid products with the same fire hazard.
