Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the mechanical properties of wooden structural timber bolted connections and the bearing strength of bolt holes and pin grooves. This standard applies to bolted joint specimens that connect at least one wooden structural member and at least one other member of any material through a single bolt fastener, and test the strength and stiffness of the connection under lateral load.
