This standard specifies the use of ion chromatography for the determination of sodium, magnesium and calcium in urban water supplies. This standard is applicable to the determination of sodium, magnesium and calcium in drinking water and its source water. This standard stipulates that when the injection volume of the method is 50 μL, the minimum detection mass concentration is: sodium 0.013mg/L; magnesium: 0.016mg/L; calcium: 0.025mg/L.
