- This standard specifies the quality standards for sulfur hexafluoride gas used in transformers operating at 110kV and above. This standard applies to sulfur hexafluoride gas used in transformers during operation. For sulfur hexafluoride gas detection items that have special requirements from the manufacturer, they should be implemented in accordance with the operational sulfur hexafluoride quality standards provided by the manufacturer. Reference can be made to the use of sulfur hexafluoride gas for current transformers in operation.
