Scope

This standard specifies the colors obtained by printing a series of primary color inks (for proofing and formal printing) for four-color offset printing on specified conditions and substrates, and specifies a test force method to ensure color consistency. This standard applies to sheet-fed, web-based heat-setting and light-setting offset printing inks. This standard does not apply to fluorescent inks and does not specify pigments.
