- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for measuring cartridge sulfur, which is used to calculate the high-level calorific value of coal (see Appendix A). This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfur in lignite, bituminous coal and anthracite cartridges. Method A in the standard can be used for precise determination, and method B is used for general daily determination. When the results of the two methods are significantly different, the result of method A shall prevail.
