- This standard specifies the basic requirements and technical rules for the work of resistivity sounding method (hereinafter referred to as electrical sounding method). This standard is applicable to the electrical sounding method in geological prospecting for energy, metal, and non-metal minerals. The technical rules are also applicable to the electrical sounding method in hydrology, engineering, environment, and disaster geological surveys.
