Scope

This standard specifies a method for the determination of hydrogen isotope deuterium by the metallic zinc reduction method. This standard is applicable to the determination of deuterium in microliter-level water samples. For water samples with high salinity, vacuum distillation must be performed in advance to eliminate the influence of salt on the measurement results. The accuracy of this method is ±l‰.
