This standard specifies the method for gas chromatography determination. This standard applies to dissolved or escaped helium (He), hydrogen (Hz), oxygen (O2), nitrogen (N2), hydrogen (Ar), methane (CH4), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) in groundwater ), hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and other gases. Calculated based on volume percentage, He and H2 can be measured to a few parts per 100,000, and CO2 can be measured to a few parts per 10,000.
