- This standard applies to newly built and expanded thermal power plants with a single unit capacity of 50 to 600MW and using domestic units. For power plants with a single unit capacity of less than 50MW or using complete sets of imported equipment, the laboratory area and equipment may refer to this standard. Thermal and electrical measurement standards and value transfer in thermal automation laboratories of thermal power plants should comply with the "Calibration Management Measures of the People's Republic of China for Compulsory Calibration of Work Measuring Instruments" and the "Calibration of Electrical and Thermal Measuring Instruments and Devices in the Water Conservancy and Electric Power Department" Management Regulations". The design of the thermal automation laboratory of thermal power plants should strive to be streamlined and economical and reduce project investment on the premise of meeting the safe and economical operation of the power plant.
